Cruise Control

Use the Cruise Control for steady driving
on relatively straight, uncrowded roads.
The controls are located on the end of
the multifunction lever.
The Cruise Control functions include:
(Off): Slide the control to this
position to turn off the system.
(On): Slide the control to this position
to turn on the system.
– (Set/Decrease): Press the button at
the end of the multifunction lever to set
the speed or decrease vehicle speed
when Cruise Control is already active.
+ (Resume/Accelerate): Slide the con-
trol to this position to resume a previ-
ously set speed or to accelerate when
Cruise Control is already active.

Windshield Wipers & Washer
The lever on the right side of the steer-
ing column operates the windshield
wipers.
Set the controls to the following desired
position:
(Off): Move the lever down to turn
the wipers off.
(Delay): Set lever to this position
for a delay between wipes; turn the
delay adjustment band to set the delay
length.
(Delay Adjustment): Rotate the
band to set the length of the delay. The
windshield wiper lever must be in the
delay position for this feature to work.
(Low Speed): Place the lever in
this position for slow, steady wiping.
(High Speed): Place the lever in
this position for quick wiping cycles.
Note: Approximately 20 seconds after
the windshield wipers begin to operate,
the exterior and instrument panel lights
will come on and the DIC display will
dim. Approximately 10 seconds after
the wipers are turned off, the exterior
and instrument panel lights go off and
the DIC display will brighten. At this
point, always make sure that you have
appropriate lighting for the current
driving conditions.
