Getting to Know Your Grand Prix
MP3 Capability (if equipped)
The AM/FM Stereo with CD has MP3
playing capability. A CD-R or CD-RW
containing MP3 audio tracks will play
automatically when inserted into the CD
player. An MP3 symbol will be displayed.

Door Chime Volume Adjustment
You can adjust the volume level of the
door chime. With the ignition on, and the
radio off, press and hold the #6 button
on the radio. The radio will display either
a LOUD or NORMAL readout. Hold the
button until the setting changes. The
button must be released and pressed
again each time you want to change the
volume.

XM Satellite Radio (if equipped)
XM Satellite Radio offers more than 170
channels of digital-quality sound —
coast to coast — including music, news,
sports, talk and children's programming.
XM displays song title, artist and enter-
tainment genre.
On equipped radios, two additional
listening bands are available: XM1 and
XM2. To access these bands, press the
BAND button until XM1 or XM2 appears
on the display.
XM Satellite Radio service is based
in the continental United States
and Canada. An activation fee and
service subscription are required.
