Note: You must say the
name exactly as you said it
when you recorded it. This
may be difficult in, for
example, a noisy
environment or during an
emergency, so you should
not rely solely upon voice
dialling in all
circumstances.

Adding a voice tag

Save or copy the names and phone
numbers to which you want to add a
voice tag in the phone's memory.
You can also add voice tags to the
names in the SIM card, but if you
replace your SIM card with a new
one, you first need to delete the old
voice tags before you can add new
ones.
1. In standby mode, press

2. Scroll to the name to which you
want to add a voice tag and press
Details. Scroll to the phone
number you want and press
Options.
3. Select
Add voice
4. Press Start, and speaking clearly
say the word(s) you want to
record as a voice tag. After
recording, the phone plays the
recorded tag.

Making a call using a voice tag

When an application using the GPRS
connection is sending or receiving
data, you cannot make a call using
voice dialling. To make a call using a
voice tag, end the application using
the GPRS connection.
1. In standby mode, press and hold
Names. A short tone is heard and

is displayed.
2. Say the voice tag clearly.
3. The phone plays the recognised
voice tag and then dials the
phone number of the voice tag
after 1.5 seconds.
If you are using the headset, press
and hold the headset key to start the
voice dialling.
Replaying, changing or erasing
a voice tag
Press Names and select
Scroll to the name with the voice tag
you want, and press Options.
• To replay the voice tag, select
Playback.
• To erase the voice tag, select
Erase
and press OK.
Voice tag
appears after
Voice
tags.
