Saving names and phone
numbers (Add name)
Names and numbers will be saved in
the memory currently being used,
see Selecting the phone book
settings above.
1. Press Names or Menu and
book
and select
2. Key in the name and press OK.

3. Key in the phone number and
press OK. To key in the numbers,
see Making a call on page 8.
4. When the name and number are
saved, press Done.
Tip: Quick save
In standby mode, key in the
phone number. Press
Options and select Save.

Saving multiple numbers and
text items per name
You can save a maximum of five
phone numbers and three brief text
items in the phone's internal phone
book for each name. You can choose
to select any three text items, out of
four text types: e-mail, web address,
postal address, and note.

The first number saved under a name
is automatically set as the default
number, and is indicated by
When you select a name from the
phone book, for example, to make a
call, the default number is used
unless you select another number.
1. Make sure that the memory in
use is either

SIM, since multiple numbers and
text items can only be saved in
the phone's memory. See
Selecting the phone book
settings on page 15.
2. To access the list of names and
phone numbers, press
in standby mode.
3. Scroll to the name saved in the
phone's internal phone book to
which you want to add a new
number or text item and press
Details. (If the name is not saved
in the phone, the phone will ask
you whether you want to save it
there.)
4. Press Options and select
