Sending and receiving data via

infrared
• Ensure that the infrared ports of
your phone and the other device
are pointing at each other and
that there are no obstructions
between the devices. The
preferable distance between the
two devices in an infrared
connection is one meter at the
most.
• To receive data, activate the
infrared port by accessing this
menu.
• To send data from your phone,
select the function from which
you want to send data over the
infrared connection.
If data transfer is not started within
two minutes after the activation of
the infrared port, the connection is
cancelled and has to be started
again.
Checking the status of the
infrared connection
When
is shown continuously,
the infrared connection is active and
your phone is ready to send or
receive data via its infrared port.
When
blinks, your phone is
trying to connect to the other device
or the connection has been lost.
