The T620 has two versions of the front panel depending on the orientation of the system. The front
control panel for a tower server has an LCD, which is an iDRAC-controlled graphics display that
provides system information through error codes.
The front control panel for a rack server has a VGA port to support a monitor.
A useful feature included with Dell PowerEdge 12
(QRL)—a model-specific Quick Response (QR) code that is located inside the T620 chassis cover
(see Figure 8). Use your smartphone to access the Dell QRL app to learn more about the server.
This QRL code allows you to:
View step-by-step videos, including overviews of system internals and externals, as well as
detailed, concise, task-oriented videos and installation wizards
Locate reference materials, including searchable owner's manual content, LCD diagnostics, and
an electrical overview
Look up your service tag so you can quickly gain access to your specific hardware configuration
