BASIC OPERATION

■ Call channel programming

The call channel key is used to select Channel 9 by default,
however, you can program your most often-used channels in
each channel group for quick recall.
q Push [CH/WX•
several times to select the de-
sired channel group (USA, INT,
CAN) to be programmed.
w Push [16• ] for 1 sec. to select

■ Lock function

This function electronically locks all keys (except for [PTT],
[SQL] and [H/L• ]) to prevent accidental channel changes

and function access.
• Push [H/L• ] for 1 sec. to turn the lock function ON and OFF.
LOCK
Appears while the
lock function is used.
