CAPT Problems

Problem
CAPT is not working
properly
Cannot use Adobe Type
Manager (ATM) fonts
Cannot print with a
printer driver other than
the LBP-810

Troubleshooting
Cause
The CAPT for
LBP-810 is not
selected as the default
printer driver.
The software might
not be installed
properly.
You might be using the
wrong version of
Adobe Type Manager.
The printer driver is
connected to the same
port as the LBP-810
printer driver.
Solution
Specify the CAPT for the
LBP-810 as the default driver.
Refer to "Using the Trouble
Shooter" on page 139.
To check that the CAPT is
installed correctly, try printing
a page from an application. If
the print fails, the CAPT is not
installed correctly. Remove the
CAPT and install it again. For
more information, see
"Uninstalling the CAPT" on
page 141.
You must be using Adobe Type
Manager (ATM) version 2.51
or later.
Connect the printer driver to a
different port from the
LBP-810 printer driver.
