Controlling CD Changer (Optional)

If an optional Alpine 6-disc CD Changer is
connected to the 8-pin DIN connector (M-Bus) of
the CTM-1503R, you can control the CD changer
using the CTM-1503R.
NOTE
The CD controls on the CTM-1503R for the CD
changer operation are functional only when the CD
Changer is interconnected with the CTM-1503R.

Press the CHG button to activate the CHANGER
mode.
The display shows the "Changer", disc number
and track number.

Press the Disc Select buttons (1 through 6)
corresponding to one of the discs loaded in the
CD Changer. The selected disc number appears
in the display and CD playback starts.

To pause playback, press the -/J button.
Pressing the -/J button again will resume
playback.
NOTES
• If the "F" indicator is illuminated the Disc Select
buttons become nonfunctional.
• Press the SOURCE button to activate the CHANGER
mode.
• Only compact discs containing the mark shown can
be used.
• We cannot fully guarantee the playback of CD-R
(CD-Recordable). You cannot playback CD-RW (CD-
ReWritable) on this unit.

Music Sensor (Skip)

Momentarily press the DN g button once
during CD play to return to the beginning of the
current track. If you wish to access the beginning
of a track further back, repeatedly press until you
reach the desired track.
Press the f UP button once to advance to the
beginning of the next track. If you wish to access
the beginning of a track further ahead, press
repeatedly until the desired track is reached.
NOTE
The music sensor feature is functional in the play or
pause mode.
