Personal Settings

To access the Personal tab, go to Start > Settings. The screen opens displaying the Personal tab.
Icon Description
Buttons Programs hardware buttons to launch applications or execute commands.
Input Customizes the SIP. For details.
Lock Provides password protection for certain programs on the terminal.
Menus Customizes what appears on the Start and New menus.
Owner Stores your contact information.
This information will appear on the Today screen.
Information
Sounds & Sets the sound volume, enables and disables sounds for specific actions,
and sets sound parameters for system notifications.
Notifications
Today Customizes the look and the information displayed on the Today screen.
Note: Personal settings are stored in RAM memory and are replaced by system defaults after each hard reset. For
