    Emptying the dust filter To achieve optimum vacuuming results, the dust container should be emptied after every vacuuming job or, at the latest, when the maximum level is reached. Use the release button (1) to unlock the dual separator and fold it away to the front. Use the release button (2) to unlock the dust collector and remove it from the appliance.

    Cleaning the filter Unlock the dual separator and fold it away to the front. Remove the particle filter along with the lint filter and foam filter and clean them by knocking out the dirt. To do so, take off the lint filter, unlock and open the flap of the particulate filter cartridge and remove the foam filter.
  • Page 17 Cleaning the filter If the filters are very dirty, they should all be rinsed out.
  • Page 18 Cleaning the filter After cleaning, insert the foam filter into the particulate filter cartridge, close the flap and engage it at the sides. Place the lint filter between the ends of the foam filter such that its position is optimum on both sides, with the edge ending flush in the filter cartridge.
  • Page 19 Cleaning the filter Clean the micro filter by knocking out the dirt. If the micro filter is very dirty, it should be rinsed out. Replace the micro filter. Close the exhaust filter cover. Insert the dust container into the appliance and engage it in position.
  • Page 20 Cleaning the filter Replacing the HEPA filter Unlock the dual separator and fold it away to the front. Unlock the dust container and remove it from the appliance. Open the exhaust filter cover as far as possible in the direction of the arrow. The cover engages in this position.

    Cleaning the filter Replace the dual separator and lock it by turning in the direction of the arrow. Fold back the dual separator and engage in position. Attention: The inside of the dual separator may become scratched with use and start to look opaque.
