GENERAL SAFETY RULES

■ Always wear personal protective safety glasses,
gloves, ear protectors, face mask or respiratory
equipment and protective clothing.
■ Always ensure machine is switched off before
connecting to air supply.
■ Disconnect any machine from the air supply before
changing blades or discs, and before servicing any
type of machine.
■ Do not wear watches, rings bracelets or loose clothing
when using air tools.
■ Do not overload the machine. Allow the tool to operate
at its optimum speed for maximum efficiency.
■ Do not increase the air pressure above the
manufacturers recommended level, as excessive
overload can cause the machine casing to split. Also
this creates excessive wear on moving parts and
possible failure.
■ In the interests of safety and possible damage to the
machine/operator, always ensure that the machine
has stopped before putting it down after use.
■ Always ensure that the accessories such as blades,
discs, sockets, etc. are rated/designed for use with the
machine. Also correctly and securely fastened before
connecting the machine to the air supply.
■ Ensure you read, understand and apply safety
instructions before use.
■ Keep children away from the tool and workplaces
when using the tools.
■ Air tools are not generally insulated and should not
come in contact with electric power sources.
■ Polishers and sanders should not be used in a
potentially explosive environment.
■ Pay attention to the risk of explosion or fire due to the
material being processed.
■ Pay attention to the risk of cutting.
■ Pay attention to the risk of hair or loose clothing being
drawn in or trapped in the tool.
■ Pay attention to the whipping compressed air hose.
■ Check that the maximum operating speed of the
inserted tool (flap wheels, abrasive belts, fibre discs
etc.) is higher than the rated speed of the air tool.
■ Check the speed after each service in relevant cases.
■ Special care has to be taken when assembling the
speed governor or protective devices.
■ The spare parts would not affect the health and safety
of the operator.
■ Personal protection and dust collection device should
be used with regard to the material being worked upon.

APPLICATIONS
The tool is ideal for smoothing concrete, removing burrs
from metal and for fi nishing weld seams. It features a
rugged die-cast aluminum body and an ergonomic rubber
grip. It has built-in regulator for positive speed control,
screened inlet to prevent dirt particles from entering air
intake. Any other use is forbidden.

AIR SUPPLY AND OPERATION

■ Ensure air valve (or trigger) is in the "off" position
before connecting to the air supply.
■ Connect the air tool to the air hose .
■ Press the trigger to operate the tool.
■ DO NOT use any additional force upon the
tool.
■ DO NOT allow tool to free run for an extended period
of time as this will shorten its life.
