USE

The freezer is marked with the
food and for long-term storage of frozen food.

Starting-up and Temperature Regula-
tion
Insert the plug into the wall socket, the pilot light
(C) will light up to show that the appliance is work-
ing.
Turn knob (E) beyond the « » position.
To safely store frozen and deep-frozen foods, the
inner temperature of the freezer must be at least –
18°C or colder.
Therefore, we suggest you turn the knob (E) to a
medium setting.
The temperature inside the freezer is automatically
adjusted to ensure safe storage of the food.
However if the appliance works in unfavourable
room conditions such as poor ventilation, high am-
bient temperature and frequent door openings, it
might be necessary to select a more suitable set-
ting.
Turn knob (E) to the max. to obtain lower tempera-
tures and, conversely, to the min. if a less cold
temperature is required.
Freezer operation can be halted by turning knob (E)
to position « ».

Quick freezing

Slide switch (A) towards the left to position «S»
(«SUPER»)
The pilot lamp (B) will then light up.
Warning light (D)
This light warns when the temperature inside the
freezer compartment has increased so much as to
jeopardize the preservation of food in the compart-
ment.
When the appliance is switched on for the first time
or when food is placed in the compartment for freez-
ing, this light remains on until the temperature has
reached the level required for correct storage.
