Step 20
 Lower Beam to Horizontal position as
described in the SPLITTING
OPERATION section of the manual.
 Remove (2) Log Stripper Bolts and (1)
Beam Bolt Long on Engine side of the
splitter.
 Position Engine Guard and reinstall (2)
Log Stripper Bolts and (1) Beam Bolt
Long as shown.
 Tighten bolts to 37 lb-ft with a wrench.
Step 21
 For 1108, skip to Step 22.
 For 1109, 1114 – Feed Engine Switch
Cable (attached to Engine) through Cable
bushing and attach terminals to Toggle
Switch. (Black and white wire location
on switch is unimportant.)
 Use (1) Cable Tie to secure Engine
Switch Cable to Engine Guard as shown.
Step 22
 Fill log splitter with hydraulic fluid as
outlined in the Initial Unpacking & Set-
Up section of the manual.
 Fill engine with SAE 10W-30 as
recommended by the engine
manufacturer.
