Checking electrical
connections
Correct
electrical connection can be
confirmed when switching on the appliance
as the timer will be flashing.
Note: House circuit
Earth leakage and continuity tests must be
carried out before the appliance is
connected to the mains supply and re-
checked after fitting.
Connecting to a hob or cooker
point
Either follow in general terms the
instructions for connecting to the
terminal block or refer to the hob
suppliers installation instructions.
Feed the cable through the cabinet
and arrange to route the cable away
from the appliance which may
become hot.

Fitting into the cabinet

IMPORTANT: Ensure that the oven
is switched off at the wall before
any further work is carried out.
Using a tape measure establish the
internal width of the cabinet. Refer to
page 38 if greater than 565mm.
Position the appliance in front of the
cabinet. See Fig. 8.
Take out all oven furniture before
installation to reduce the weight you
need to lift. The oven door should be
taped up to keep it closed whilst lifting.
To place the appliance into the
cabinetry follow the procedure:
N.B. Two people will be required to
carry out the lifting procedure.
