2. AIR CLEANER
CAUTION: Never run the engine without the air cleaner. Rapid engine
wear will result from contaminants, such as dust and dirt, being drawn
through the carburetor and into the engine.
Check the air cleaner elements to be sure they are clean and in good condi-
tion. Clean or replace the elements if necessary (page 17).
NOTE: Remember reinstall the air filter grommet, replace the grommet if
necessary.
