REVERSE RIDING
For reverse maneuvering, make sure there are no obstacles or
people in the area; avoid steep or uneven surfaces.

• Do not carry a passenger while moving in reverse. The
weight of a passenger will increase the possibility and
results of maneuvering errors. You may fall over.
1. Make sure the transmission is in neutral (neutral indicator
ON) and the side stand is up.
2. Sitting astride the motorcycle, start the engine and shift the
reverse lever into the reverse position as shown, then make
sure the reverse system indicator comes on.
