Program
Select and adjust a sound program and decoder. Select a sound program of which you
want to change the settings, and then set the parameters for each item. The sound
program is switched at this time.
■
Procedure

Press the cursor keys to select "Program" and then press ENTER.

Press the cursor keys ( / ) to select a sound program of which you want change
the settings, and then press ENTER.

Press the cursor keys ( / ) to select an item of which you want to change the
items, and then press ENTER.

Press the cursor keys to adjust the parameters, and then press ENTER.
5
If necessary, repeat step 3 to 4 to set other items.
6
Press SETUP to finish "Program."
• For details on sound program, refer to "Enjoying the desired sound field effect" (p.33).
• Selectable items vary depending on the selected sound program or decoder.

Item Description
Automatically bypasses the DSP
circuit and tone control circuit
Direct depending on the condition of
tone control etc., when an analog
audio source is played back.
Setting
Auto (Default), Off
"Auto" outputs sound by bypassing
the DSP circuit and tone control
circuit in the following situations.
• Tone controls of "Bass" and
"Treble" are set to 0 dB (p.57).
• "Equalizer" is set to "Through"
(p.63).
• "Adaptive DRC" is set to "Off"
(p.57).

Item Description
Adjusts the center channel
Center Level
volume.
Adjusts the volume of the
Surround L Level
surround L channel.
Adjusts the volume of the
Surround R Level
surround R channel.
Initializes the level of each

speaker.
• Selectable items in "5ch Stereo" vary depending on types of speakers connected to the unit.

select "OK," and then press ENTER
to initialize all level settings.
Setting
-6 dB to +3 dB (Default: 0 dB)
The higher the value is, the stronger
the effect level is output. The lower
the value is, the smaller the effect
level is output.
