CD and MD functions
CD and MD function controls
1. Navigation button – Fast forward/
rewind, track selection and menus
2. CD changer position selection
3. CD or MD insertion/eject
4. CD or MD insertion/eject slot
5. CD/MD – Select CD or MD player
6. TUNING – Knob for track selection
CD or MD playback
If the volume is turned down completely, the
CD and MD player is paused. The player is
reactivated when volume is increased.
1. CD changer and combined CD/MD
player are available as options.
CD and MD player
– Press CD/MD (5).
If a CD or MD is already in the player,
playback starts automatically.
– Insert a CD or MD in the slot (4).
CD changer
– Press CD/MD (5).
If a CD position is selected, playback starts
automatically.
– Select an empty position with buttons
1–6 or up/down with the navigation
button.
An empty position is marked in the display.
Wait until the text Insert disc appears before
inserting a new disc. The CD changer can
hold up to six CDs.
– Insert a CD in the slot of the CD

changer (4).

Track selection

Use the left or right arrow of the navigation

button (1) to come to the previous or next
track. The track number is shown in the
display. TUNING (6) (or the steering wheel
keypad) can also be used for this purpose.
CD selection (CD changer)
Select a disc using position buttons 1–6, or
by pressing up or down with the navigation
Infotainment system
button (1). The disc and track number are
shown on the display.
Fast forward/rewind of CD or
MD
Press and hold the left or right arrow of the
navigation button to rewind/fast forward. This
continues as long as the navigation button is
depressed.
