On MANUAL TRANSMISSION vehicles only install the Astra 1000RS-M remote starting system. Verify that the vehicle transmission is left in neutral position. If accidentally left in gear the vehicle could become a self-propelled threat to life and property. -

In order to change the battery, first remove 2 screws from the back of the transmitter and separate the top and bottom halves of the case.
