Switching the information and
title display
When the separately sold display is connected
to this unit, the following information will ap-
pear on it.
1 Source icon
2 Song number indicator
3 Play time indicator
4 Title display
SONG (song title), ARTIST (artist name),
ALBUM (album title)
% Press DISPLAY to switch the informa-
tion display.
Press DISPLAY repeatedly to switch between
the following display modes:
Information display—Title display
# Pressing DISPLAY button on the Title display
switches text information on the head unit. In this
case, text information on the Title display remains
unchanged.
# Text information on the Title display does not
scroll.

audio player/USB memory
Basic Operations
You can use this unit to control a USB adapter
(e.g., CD-UB100), which is sold separately.
For details concerning operation, refer to the
USB adapter's operation manual. This section
provides information on USB portable audio
player/USB memory operations with this unit
which differs from that described in the USB
adapter's operation manual.

4 MP3/WMA/AAC indicator
Shows the type of file currently playing.

Press SOURCE to select USB.

Press a or b to select a folder.
# You cannot select a folder that does not have
a compressed audio file recorded in it.
# To return to folder 01 (ROOT), press and hold
BAND. However, if folder 01 (ROOT) contains no
files, playback commences with folder 02.

To perform fast forward or reverse,
press and hold c or d.

To skip back or forward to another
compressed audio file, press c or d.
