To use the cash register's basic function

Reduction

Using the reduction feature, you can subtract a certain amount from an item's unit
price or from a subtotal amount.

Register item 1 by inputting the unit
price and department key.

Enter reduction amount manually
and press m key. •0.25 is sub-
tracted from the unit price.

Register item 2 by inputting the PLU
number and + key.

Press m key. Pressing
without numeral entry subtracts the
preset reduction amount (•0.50 in
this example) from the PLU's unit
price.

Press key for reducing

amount from the subtotal.

Enter reduction amount manually
then press key. The inputted

amount is subtracted from the
subtotal amount.

Enter the tendered amount then
press F key.
• You can input up to seven digits reduction amount manually.
