NOTE:
While compressing the spring, remove the dowel
pin.

1. Inspect:
9 Plain washer 1
9 Collar 2
Wear/Damage ¡ Replace.

1. Inspect:
9 Thrust bearing 1
9 Plain washer 2
Wear/Damage ¡ Replace.

1. Install:
9 Governor gear 1
9 Compression spring 2
9 Plate 3
9 Plain washer 4
9 Thrust bearing 5
9 Collar 6
9 Retainer weight 7
To governor shaft 8.
NOTE:
Apply the lithium soap base grease on the thrust
bearing.
