USB Connection

USB provides a two-way data link
between the Xboard and your
computer and also supplies
power to the Xboard. Always
connect to the USB port on the
computer itself—the USB port on
your computer keyboard will not
supply sufficient power.

MIDI Connection

The Xboard sends MIDI perfor-
mance data to another MIDI
device, such as a MIDI sound
module. The Xboard always
transmits MIDI data except
when "Thru" mode is enabled.
