    G e t t i n g to k now your router The N600 Wireless Dual Band Router WNDR3400v3 provides you with an easy and secure way to set up a wireless home network with fast access to the Internet over a high-speed digital subscriber line (DSL) or a cable broadband service provider.

Position Your Router The router lets you access your network from anywhere within the operating range of your wireless network.

Manage the Configuration File The configuration settings of the N600 Wireless Dual Band Router are stored within the router in a configuration file. You can back up (save) this file to your computer, restore it, or reset it to the factory default settings.

    Click Apply so that your changes take effect. Password Recovery NETGEAR recommends that you enable password recovery if you change the password for the router’s user name of admin. You then have an easy way to recover the password if it is forgotten.

A wireless repeater connects to another wireless router as a client where the network to which it connects becomes the ISP service.
