Interior rearview mirror
To reduce glare from vehicles behind
you w hen you are driving at night, tilt
the mirror by turning the button.
Lighted vanity mirror
Fold dow n the sun visor and slide the
cover panel to the side as required.
The m irror lamps operate from ignition
key position 1 and up.
Sun visors
These can be folded dow n tow ard the
w indshield or sw iveled out against the
side w indow s.
Interior and exterior rearview
mirror w ith automatic dimmer
By responding to the effects of am bient
light and the glare from follow ing traffic,
these mirrors autom atically dim through
an infinitely- variable range.
There are 2 photocells located in the
interior rearview m irror for this purpose.
One photocell (arrow ) is in the m irror
glass, w hile the other is offset som e-
w hat on the back of the m irror.
The mirrors autom atically revert to their
clear, undimm ed setting w henever you
select "Reverse."
For trouble- free operation, keep the
photocells clean and do not cover the
area betw een the interior rearview
m irror and the w indshield. Do not
attach any kind of stickers on the w ind-
shield in front of the m irror, either.
