CONTROL
NOTE: The Remote Control will not operate properly if strong light shines on the sensor window of the Air
Conditioner or if there are obstacles between the Remote Control and the Air Conditioner.
Every time you push button, you will hear a beep from the Air Conditioner.
POWER
• To turnthe airconditioner ON, pushthisbutton. T o turntheairconditioner OFF, pushthe
button again.Thisbuttontakespdority overanyotherbutton.
When youfirstturnit on,the air conditioner is onthe Highcoolmodeandthe Tempat

TEMPERATURE SETTING
• Use these buttonsto automatically control the temperatureof the room.
The temperature can be set within a range of 64°F to 82°F.
• Push the TEMP up or down buttons to shift the temperature setting from
82°F• 76°F • 70°F• 64°F
TIMER
- SHUT-OFFTIME
• You willusually use shut-off time while you sleep.
• If unit is running, UseTimer to set the number of hours until shut-off.
• PushTimer buttonsto advancethe Timer setting as follows:
1 Hour(1 Hour-2 Hours)• 3 Hours(3 Hours-5Hours)• 6 Hours(6 Hours-9Hours)
• 10 Hours maximum.
- START TIME
• If unit isoff, Use the Timer to set the numberof hoursbefore unitstarts.
• PushTimer buttonsto advancethe Timer setting as follows :
1 Hour(1 Hour-2 Hours)l, 3 Hours(3 Hours-5Hours)• 6 Hours(6 Hours-9Hours)
• 10 Hours maximum.
MODE
• Push this button to shift the mode of operation from:
COOL-HI • COOL-LOW • FAN ONLY-HI • FAN ONLY-LOW.
HOW TO INSERT

1. Removethe cover from the back of the remote
controller.
• Open the cover according to the arrow directionon the
cover.
2. Insert two batteries.
• Be sure that the (+) and (-) directionsare correct.
• Be sure that both batteriesare new.
3. Re-attachthe cover.
• Do not use rechargeablebatteries.
Such batteriesdiffer from standard drycells in shape,
dimensions,and performance.
• Remove the batteriesfrom the remote controller if the air
conditioner is not going to be usedfor an extended
length of time.
