If the indoor unit's internal clock is not set to the correct time, the WEEKLY TIMER will not operate punctually.
Tips for saving energy
•
Be careful not to cool (heat) the room too much.
Keeping the temperature setting at a moderate level helps save energy.
•
Cover windows with a blind or a curtain.
Blocking sunlight and air from outdoors increases the cooling (heating) effect.
•
Clogged air fi lters cause ineffi cient operation and waste energy. Clean them once in about every 2 weeks.
Please note
•
The air conditioner always consumes 50-120 btu/h (15-35 watts) of electricity even while it is not operating.
•
If you are not going to use the air conditioner for a long period, for example in spring or autumn, turn the breaker OFF.
•
Use the air conditioner in the following conditions.

Outdoor temperature : 50 to 115°F (10 to 46°C)
COOL Indoor temperature : 64 to 90°F (18 to 32°C)
Indoor humidity : 80% max.
Outdoor temperature : 5 to 75°F (–15 to 24°C)
HEAT
Indoor temperature : 50 to 86°F (10 to 30°C)
Outdoor temperature : 50 to 115°F (10 to 46°C)
DRY Indoor temperature : 64 to 90°F (18 to 32°C)
Indoor humidity : 80% max.

Operation outside this humidity or temperature range may cause a safety device to disable the system.
Turn the breaker ON
• Turning ON the breaker closes the fl ap. (This is a normal procedure.)
To set the clock

• Holding down button rapidly increases or decreases the time display.

indoor unit's internal clock.
