8 KeyCard
Insert the KeyCard (contact area showing
up) into the corresponding slot above the
flashing KeyCard tongue. (See also "DSC
programming").
9 PS/MIX
Radio functions:
When pressing the button for less than
2 seconds, the system will briefly play
all stations stored on the preset but-
tons. When pressing the button for
more than 2 seconds, the system will
briefly play all FM stations to be
received.
CD functions:
Pressing the button for less than 2 se-
conds activates the MIX function. All
CD titles will then be played at random.
Pressing the button for more than 2
seconds activates the CD-SCAN
function. The system will then briefly
play all CD titles.
To cancel the CD-SCAN function, press
the PS/MIX button once again.
: TPM
(Track Program Memory)
To select and store the titles for CD
reproduction. The system allows to pro-
gram up to 30 discs in advance. Read
through chapter "TPM programming".

Radio functions:
Press button for less than 2 seconds to
change the seek tuning sensitivity.
Press button for more than 2 seconds
to switch to mono reproduction.
CD functions:
To delete CD titles from the TPM me-
mory.
< TA (priority for traffic announce-
ments)
When "TA" lights up in the display, the
system will only play stations offering
traffic information.
"TA" on/off: press the TA button.
= AF button (alternative frequency)
during RDS operation
When "AF" lights up in the display, the
system will automatically seek a fre-
quency offering better reception of the
same RDS program."AF" on/off: press
the AF button briefly. When pressing
the AF button for about 2 seconds, the
display will show REG-ON or REG-OFF
(regional programs).
> PTY button
Use this button to enter the PTY mode.
In this mode, the preset buttons are
used to select different program types,
e.g. SPORT. The system will then only
seek stations offering sport programs.
? SRC · CD - EJECT
(SRC = source) When listening to a CD,
you can use this button to shift between
radio and CD operation. To eject the
disc, keep the button depressed for
more than 1 sec.
