thrower,facingthe handlepanel).
Removing FromCarton
1. Cutthe corners of the cartonandlaythe sides flat on theground.Remove
anddiscard all packinginserts.
2. Movethe snowthrowerout of the carton.
3. Makecertainthe cartonhasbeencompletely emptiedbefore discarding it.
Assembly
1. Observe t he lowerrearareaof the snowthrowerto besurebothcables are
alignedwith rollerguidesbeforepivotingthe handleupward.
a. Place theshift [everinthe F6position.
b. Puffup andbackonupperhandleasshownin Figure 1.Asyouare
raisingthe handleupward,makesurethat bothendsof the center
cablearepositionedproperly inthe brackets. SeeFigure 2.Align
upperhandle with the lowerhandle.
c. Tighten handknobs securingupperhandleto lowerhandle.Remove
anddiscard anyrubberbands, i f present. T hey arefor packaging
purposes o nly.
2. Remove c otterpin, wingnut,andhexscrew from chutecontrolhead and
clevispinandbow-tiecotterpinfrom chutesupportbracket. S eeFigure 3.
