Using the Flash

Use the flash according to the guidelines below.

Flash on with

Shooting Mode
The flash fires automatically as required by the light

The flash fires automatically as required by the lighting

main flash fires.

The flash will not fire.
The flash timing is adjusted to slow shutter speeds. This
reduces the chance that the background will be dark when

The red-eye reduction lamp fires with each shot.
Use of a tripod is recommended.
Can be selected for the first image only
