Troubleshooting (Advanced)
PC Card / ExpressCard
A card does not work.
SD Memory Card
Cannot use an SD Memory Card.
Cannot use SD security function.
Cannot log on using the SD Memory
Card.
Smart Card
Cannot use a Smart card.
Insert the card correctly.
The card does not conform to the card standard.
Restart the computer after installing a driver (of card or other device).
Set [PC Card Slot] and [ExpressCard Slot] to [Enable] in the [Advanced] menu
of the Setup Utility ( page
The port settings are not correct.
Read the instruction manual of the card or contact the manufacturer of the card.
Remove the card and insert it again (
The driver is not compatible with the operating system.
Set [SD Slot] to [Enable] in the [Advanced] menu of the Setup Utility (

Setup the SD Memory Card (
The user name and password set in the SD Memory Card are not correct.
Enter the correct user name and password, and log on to Windows without
using the SD Memory Card. Set the correct user name and password in [SD
