Installing Battery
Rotate the back cover knob to the un-lock position (see Picture 1) and then remove the battery cover.

There are 2 card slots at the top side of battery compartment,
the SIM Card slot is located on the right side.

Insert the battery into the battery compartment. Replace the battery cover. Rotate the knob to the lock
position, to lock the battery.
1.3 Battery Information
Battery performance depends on many factors, including your wireless provider's network configuration, signal
strength, the temperature of the environment in which you are operating the device, the features and settings you
select and use, items attached to the device's connecting ports, and your voice, data, and other program usage
patterns. (Factors such as signal strength and voice usage patterns only apply to the devices equipped with phone
capabilities).
Optimizing Power Performance
You can set your display and backlight settings to time out after a short time in order to conserve the battery life.
• To change display settings, tap on Start > Settings > System > Power > Advanced tab, and then adjust the
settings.
• To change backlight settings, tap on the Start > Settings > System > Backlight. On the Battery Supply tab
and/or the External Power tab, adjust the settings.
• Disabling Wi-Fi and Bluetooth radios when not in use will also help to preserve battery power.
