FRONT INSTALLATION
Install the front grille with the cabinet as follows:
- Hook upper tabs of front gdtle into slots on the
cabinet top.(FIG. 17)
• Push front grilte's tips toward the cabinet in order
to snap side tabs into the cabinet. (FIG. 17)
• Open the filter door.(FtG. 18)
° Install the TYPE A screw _othrough the front
grilte.(FIG. 18)
° Close filter doon(FIG.19)

IF AIR CONDITIONER IS BLOCKED BY STORM
WINDOW FRAME
Add wood to clear front as shown in FiG. 20, or
remove storm window white air conditioner is
instal led.

AIR CONDITIONER REMOVAL
Turn the air conditioner off, disconnect the power
cord, remove the window toking bracket and the
screws installed through the top and bottom of the
side curtain. Save all parts for later reinstallation.
Close the side curtain Keeping a firm grip on the air
conditioner, raise the sash, and carefully tilt the air
conditioner backward, draining any condensed
water. Lift the air conditioner from the window.
Remove the sash sea_ from between the windows,

To prevent injuryor strain, use proper lifting and
carrying techniqueswhen moving unit.
• When handlingthe air conditioner,be careful to

rear coils.
