HOW TO INSTALL

Remove
the screws which fasten the cabinet
at
the back and side of the unit,
O
Screw the upper guide _ to the top of the cabinet
respectively using (3) TYPE A screws _ o, insert the side
curtain _ into the upper guide _ and lower guide of the
air conditioner. Fasten the curtains to the unit with (10 /
TYPE A screws _ o.

Slide the unit out of the cabinet by gripping the
base pan handle and pull forward while bracing the
cabinet.

the FOAM-PE
_ to fit the underside
of the
window
sash, Peel off the backing
and attach the
seal as shown in Fig, 5,

Remove
the backing from the FOAM-PE
_, and
attach to the bottom of the upper guide

_Open
the window. Mark a line on the center of the
window stool between the side window stop moldings,
Loosely attach the sill bradder to the support bracket
using the carriage bolt and the I_k
nut,

Attach the sill bracket to the window sill using the
TY'PE B screws _ . Carefully place the cabinet on the
window stool and align the center mark on the angle
front with the center line marked on the window stool.

Using the M-screw
and the lock nut _
attach the
support bracket to the cabinet track hole. Use the first
track hole after the siil bracket on the outer e_e of the
window sill. Tighten the carriage bolt a_ the lock nut, Be
sure the ca_net slants outward 1/4 bubNe using the
carpenters level.
CAUTION: Do not ddH a hole in the bottom pan. The unit
is designed to operate with approximately t/2"of water in
bottom pan,
