Tap the Restrictions menu choice.
Your NOOK displays a keypad so you can enter the restrictions passcode.
NOTE: If you do not know the restrictions passcode for the NOOK you are using, ask the owner or adminis-
trator of your NOOK for help.

Enter the 4-digit restrictions passcode on the keypad.
Your NOOK displays the Restrictions setting screen.
5.
Tap the Browser checkbox so it is unchecked.
Your NOOK re-enables the Web browser.

Configuring Privacy Settings for Your Web Browser

The Settings screen of your Web browser includes a list of privacy settings. The privacy settings include the following:
Clear cache
Clear history
Accept cookies (turned on by default)
Clear all cookies*
Remember form data (turned on by default)
Clear form data*
Enable location (allows sites to request information about your location)
Clear location access*
The settings marked with an asterisk above open a dialog box to confirm that you want to perform an action.
To configure the privacy settings for your browser, do this:
1.
In your browser, tap the Options menu to open it.
2.
Tap the menu choice More options.
The Options menu closes and a new pop-up menu opens.
3.
Tap the menu choice Settings.
4.
Scroll down the Settings screen to find the privacy settings you want to change.
NOTE: By default, your Web browser blocks pop-up windows. You can turn this blocking feature on and off by
toggling a configuration option on the Settings screen. Look for the menu choice Block pop-up windows in
the first group of configuration options, which are labeled Page content settings.
