Repeat Play

Press F/SETUP to illuminate the "F" indicator.

Press 4 ( ) within 10 seconds to play back
repeatedly the track being played.
The track (file) will be played repeatedly.
Press 4 ( ) again and select OFF to deactivate repeat
play.
CD mode :
RPT : Only a track is repeatedly played back

MP3 mode (CDE-9843RX only):
RPT : Only a file is repeatedly played back

M.I.X. (Random Play)

Press F/SETUP to illuminate the "F" indicator.

Press 5 ( ) within 10 seconds in the play or
pause mode.
The tracks (files) on the disc will be played back in
random sequence.
To cancel M.I.X. play, press 5 (
CD mode :

M.I.X. : Track are played back in
random sequence.

Scanning Programmes

Press F/SETUP to illuminate the "F" indicator.

Press 6 ( ) within 10 seconds to activate the
Scan mode.
The first 10 seconds of each track (file) will be played
back in succession.
To stop scanning, press 6 (

Searching from CD Text (CDE-9845RX/CDE-
9843RX only)
Tracks can be searched and played using the CD text on the disc. In
the case of discs that do not support text, searches can be made using
the track numbers.

Press F/SETUP to illuminate the "F" indicator.

Press 3 /PTY within 10 seconds during play.
This will set the search mode.

Turn the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845RX) or press
4 4 4 4 4 and 3 3 3 3 3 (CDE-9843RX) to select the desired track,
then press the Rotary encoder (CDE-9845RX) or
MODE/LOUD (CDE-9843RX).
This will play the selected track.
• Press and hold 3 /PTY for at least 2 seconds in the search mode
to cancel. Or, the search mode will be cancelled when an operation
has not been performed in 10 seconds.
• CD text search cannot be made during M.I.X. play.
