5 Scroll to the picture in MY PICTURES that you
want, and press the center select
key (s) (OK).
or
Press the right soft key (+) (Options),
then select Take Picture to take a new photo
to use as a screen saver, or select PIX Place
to select a picture from your PIX Place, or
select Get New Pictures to go to GET NEW
PICTURES and download a picture (see
page 22).
or
To turn off the screen saver, scroll to the
blank picture (the last option in MY PICTURES)
and press the center select key (s) (OK).
6 Press the Power/End key (P) to return to
the home screen.

backlight

Set how long the backlights for the home
screen and the keypad remain on, or turn off
backlights to extend battery life:
1 Press the center select key (s) (MENU) to
open the menu.
2 Use the navigation key (S) to scroll to
J SETTINGS & TOOLS.
3 Press the navigation key (S) down to
scroll to Display Settings, and press the center
select key (s) (OK) to select it.
4 Scroll to Backlight and press the center
select key (s) (OK).
5 Scroll to Display or Keypad and press the
center select key (s) (OK).
6 Scroll to the length of time you want the
backlight to stay on, and press the center
select key (s) (OK).
