Basic Adjustment Settings

BOOSTER

Picture quality may improve in regions with weak signal
strength using this function.

Press MENU to display the Menu screen.

Press \/| to select "FEATURES".

Press '/" to select "BOOSTER", and press OK.

Press '/" to select "ON", and press OK.

NOTE
• If signal strength is strong enough for the selected channel, the
effect is negligible and may produce instability. In such a case,
select "OFF".

AV MODE

AV MODE gives you preset options to choose from, to best
match the image based on room-brightness and playback
software used.

Press MENU to display the Menu screen.
• The Picture Menu screen can be displayed directly by
pressing Red.

Press \/| to select "PICTURE".

Press '/" to select "AV MODE", and press OK.

Press '/" to select desired mode, and press OK.

Selected item
STANDARD Changing image settings to standard values.
DYNAMIC For a clear-cut image emphasising high contrast
for sports viewing.
MOVIE Controlling the contrast to enable easier viewing
of dark images.
GAME Controlling the brightness of video games and
other images for easier viewing.
NOTE
• You can select a different AV Mode item for each input mode.
(For example, select "STANDARD" for TV input and "DYNAMIC"
for VIDEO input.)

Picture Adjustments

Adjust the picture to your preference with the following
picture settings.

Press MENU to display the Menu screen.
• The Picture Menu screen can be displayed directly by
pressing Red.

Press \/| to select "PICTURE".

Press '/" to select a specific adjustment item.

NOTE
• Select "COLOUR SYSTEM" and press OK to select "AUTO",
"PAL", "SECAM", "N358", "N443" or "PAL60". See page 17.
• Select "ADVANCED" and press OK to set "COLOUR TEMP.", "I/P
SETUP", "DNR", "FILM MODE" or "QUICK SHOOT". See pages 17
and 18.
• When resetting all adjustment items (except for the items on the
"AV MODE", "COLOUR SYSTEM" and "ADVANCED" menu) to
factory preset values, perform the following procedure.
1 Press '/" to select "RESET", and press OK.
2 Press '/" to select "YES", and press OK.
