3. Select Portable Wi-Fi hotspot to activate the WLAN
hotspot.
4. Select Configure portable Wi-Fi hotspot to customise
the WLAN hotspot.
Option Function
Network SSID View and edit the phone name that will be
shown to external devices.
Security Select the security type.
5. When you are finished, select Save.
6. From another phone, locate your phone's name in the
available connection list and connect to the network.
Your phone shares the mobile network connection on
the other phone.
To share your phone's mobile network via USB:
1. Using a PC data cable, connect the multifunction jack
on your phone to a PC.
2. In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings →
Wireless and network → Tethering and portable
hotspot.
3. Select USB tethering to activate the USB tethering
feature.
Your phone shares the mobile network connection on
your PC.
To stop sharing the network connection, clear the
checkbox next to USB tethering.
The sharing method for the network connection might
differ depending on your PC's operating system.

GPS

Your phone is equipped with a global positioning system
(GPS) receiver. You need to activate the location services to
use the GPS.
