You can use the Digital Living Network Alliance (DLNA)
service to share media files between DLNA-enabled phones
in your home over a WLAN.
You must first activate the WLAN feature and add a WLAN
profile. ► p. 87
To customise DLNA settings for sharing media files:
To allow other DLNA-enabled phones to access media files
on your phone, you must activate media sharing.
Some files might not play on the DLNA-enabled
phones depending on the phones.
1. In Idle mode, select Applications → AllShare.
2. Press [
] → Settings.
3. Adjust the following settings to customise the DLNA
feature:
Option
Function
Device name
Enter a name for your phone as a media
server.
Share video
Turn on video sharing with other DLNA-
enabled phones.
Share picture Turn on image sharing with other DLNA-
enabled devices.
Share audio
Turn on music sharing with other DLNA-
enabled devices.
Upload from
Set whether or not to accept the upload
other device
from other device.
Default
Select the default memory location for
memory
saving downloaded media files.
Subtitles
Set to display subtitles.
