Wi-Fi Direct

You can use the WLAN Direct feature to connect to devices
via a WLAN without requiring an access point.
To connect your phone to another WLAN device:
1. In Idle mode, select Applications → Settings →
Wireless and network → Wi-Fi Direct settings → OK
→ Wi-Fi Direct.
2. Press [ ] → Scan.
3. Select a phone and select Connect. When the owner of
the other phone accepts the connection, pairing is
complete.
4. To deactivate the WLAN Direct feature, select
Disconnect Wi-Fi Direct.

To send data via a WLAN:
1. Select a file or item, such as a memo, media file, or web
address, from an appropriate application or from My
files.
2. Select an option for sending data via a WLAN.
The method of selecting an option might vary by data
type.
3. Search for and select a WLAN device.
To receive data via a WLAN:
When prompted, select OK to confirm that you are willing to
receive data. Received data is saved to the ShareViaWiFi
folder.
