Xerox Scanner User's Guide
NOTE: Always remove any staples or paper clips from documents
before placing them on the scanner glass. Staples and paper clips can
scratch the glass causing permanent lines to appear in scanned
images. Misuse as described here will void your scanner's warranty.
1. Lift the scanner lid and place an item face down on the glass.
2. Align the top edge of the item with the reference marks on the
scanner. Then close the lid.
