General
• GPS tag: Touch to switch the GPS tag on or off.
• Review: When enabled, the Image Viewer is immediately
launched after taking a photo or recording a video.
• Volume key: Press the volume key to zoom in or zoom out,
take a photo, or to record a video.
• Timer: Set a delay time to wait between touching the Camera
button and taking a photo or the Record button and starting a
recording.
• White balance: Set the light source.
• Exposure value: Use the slider to set the exposure value.
• Guidelines: Enable or disable an on-screen grid to aid in photo
and video composition.
• Voice control: Enable or disable a voice command to take a
photo.
• Contextual filename: Enable or disable a system generated
filename for photos and videos.
• Save as flipped: Set self-portrait mode and set this option to
On to take and save a mirror-image photo or video.
• Storage: Set whether to store your photos and videos on your
device or on your memory card, if one is installed.
• Reset: Set all Camera settings to the defaults.
Shooting Mode
A variety of preset camera modes are available so you can
take photos of various types.
To select a Shooting Mode:
1. Touch
Mode.
2. Touch each mode to see a description of that mode.
Effects
Several effects can be applied to your photos and videos.
To open the Effects panel and select an effect:
1. Touch
at the bottom of the screen.
2. Choose a mode to match the kind of pictures you want
to take – Grayscale, Sepia, or Negative.
3. Touch No effect to return to the default mode.
