The following table describes the various connections on
the back panel of the Siemens 5930 Business Gateway.
Connection
Uses a 12V DC/AC power adapter.
Eight Ethernet T-100 switch ports (8-pin,
RJ-45)
This 8-pin, RJ-45 port provides RS232
connectivity for console connections or a
dial backup analog (external) modem
connection.
A 6-pin RJ-11 port connects the internal
modem.
A 6-pin RJ-11 connects the DSL.
