Build up of dirt/dust in heater assembly

Dirty blower assembly

Flicker rod hitting or rubbing against
internal components
Defective flicker motor
SOLUTION
Refer to Operation Section
Replace Remote Switchboard
Refer to Individual Wall Control operating instructions
Replace Remote Control Receiver, initialize with Re-
mote Control
Refer to Operation Section
Check wiring connections
Replace heating element
Replace Remote Switchboard
Refer to individual wall control operating instructions
Clean out heater assembly
Replace Motor
Normal operation is when the heater emits an odor
for a brief period after the heater is initially turned on.
The heater is burning off any dust accumulated during
manufacturing or operation.
Replace heater assembly
Refer to Operation Section
Replace thermostat
Trace wiring in unit
Replace heating element
Small glowing sections of the element are considered
normal.
If larger glowing sections are causing the heater to trip
the thermal cutout, unplug unit, discontinue use and
replace heating elements
Clean blower assembly
Replace heater assembly
Ensure rod is straight and mounted properly in the
bracket, spinning freely away from other components.
Replace if necessary.
Replace flicker motor
