Depending on the Exchange server configuration, you may need to enter additional
information. If you do not know the correct information, contact your company IT
department. With Mail for Exchange, the use of the phone lock code may be
mandatory. Synchronization takes place automatically in intervals defined when
setting up the Mail for Exchange account. Only content defined when setting up the
account is synchronized. To synchronize additional content, modify the Mail for
Exchange settings.
If you did not create a Mail for Exchange mailbox during initial mail setup following
registration, proceed as follows:
> Mail and New mailbox.

2 Select Yes when asked if you wish to set up a corporate Mail for Exchange account.
3 Enter your details, including your Domain and then press
4 Once you phone has connected to the server, enter your server address and press

5 Select OK once you have read the recommendation about synchronizing contacts
on one account only. Select the feature or features that you want to synchronize,
and select Next.
6 If you want to keep your existing contacts on your phone, select Keep on phone.
If you want to delete your existing contacts, select Delete from phone.
7 Once the details have been successfully validated, the mailbox is created.
As part of your PIM security, you are prompted to enter a lock code, which you will
also need to enter whenever you switch on or wake up the phone.
8 If you wish to display the mailbox in a widget, add a one line or three line Mail widget
for it to the customisable home screen of your choice, and select the Mail for
Exchange mailbox when prompted following creation of the widget.

Synchronize your mailbox

With a Microsoft for Exchange ActiveSync mailbox, your mail, calendar, contacts, and
tasks are synchronized in accordance with your Personal information mgr settings. If
any other sort of mailbox is selected, just your mail is synchronized.
Edit the mailbox synchronization settings
> Settings.
