SIM services
Your SIM card may provide additional services. You can access this
menu only if it is supported by your SIM card. The name and contents
of the menu depend on the available services.
For availability and information on using SIM card services, contact
your SIM card vendor. This may be the service provider, network
operator, or other vendor.
To set the phone to show you the confirmation messages sent
between your Vertu phone and the network when you are using the
SIM services:
1. From the stand-by display, press
C o n f i r m S I M a c t i o n s
2. With
highlighted, press
Yes
This option is shown only if supported by your SIM card.
Accessing these services may involve sending messages or
making a phone call for which you may be charged.
( E ) G P R S , H S C S D a n d C S D
With your Vertu phone you can use the enhanced GPRS (EGPRS),
general packet radio service (GPRS), high speed circuit switched
data (HSCSD) and circuit switched data (CSD, GSM data) data
services.
For availability and subscription to data services, contact your
network operator or service provider.
The use of HSCSD services consumes the phone battery faster than
normal voice or data calls. You may need to connect the phone to a
charger for the duration of data transfer.
