Step 4 • Apply paste wax by hand or
orbital buffer
• Buff with towel to high luster
Tips • Foam pads are essential for
removing swirl marks; they also
provide better results on other
fine scratches
• Use compounding and buffing
products sparingly, especially
when using foam pads
STEP 4A: PAINT RESTORATION TIPS

• Use separate pads for compounds,
glazes and polishes; be sure to
mark the back of each pad "C,"
"G" or "P" as appropriate with
a felt marker
• Always follow up with a foam
pad after using wool pads
