WARNING: DO NOT reconnect the battery if any fuel has
been spilled on or around the engine or on your skin or
clothing. Wait for the fuel to evaporate, wash your hands and
change your clothing if necessary. (There should be no odor
of fuel present when connecting the battery).

RECONNECT THE NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE.

START THE ENGINE AND CHECK FOR LEAKS.
WARNING: A leaking fuel line could cause a fire under the
hood. Always repair a fuel leak before driving. If you detect
a strong odor of gasoline or if you can see fuel spraying into
the air or leaking onto the engine or ground SHUT OFF THE
ENGINE IMMEDIATELY. Attempt to locate the source of the
leak. If you do not feel confident that you can repair the leak
yourself, DO NOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE. Have it towed to your
Toyota Dealer Service Department for diagnosis and repair.

RECORD THE DATE AND MILEAGE OF THE FUEL FILTER
CHANGE IN YOUR SERVICE MAINTENANCE LOG. CHECK
THE SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE GUIDE TO ASSURE ALL
MAINTENANCE IS PERFORMED AT THE APPROPRIATE
TIME FOR THE MILEAGE.
